Madagascar is home to 1,000 different types of plants, 90% are only native to Madagascar.Along the east coast there is tropical rain forests and along the west coast there are island swamps which give way to deep bays. Also there are many different national parks there such as the Zahamena National Park where you can see animals, like the 100 different types of lemurs it is also home to different animals like fossa, fanaloka, mongoose, tenrecs, and comet moths. Something Madagascar is well know for is it's baobab trees. You can visit a certain place called the avenue of the baobabs which is a popular tourist attraction. Madagascar only has two seasons a dry cooler season and a hot rainy season. Madagascar’s summer is usually in December so temperatures can reach anywhere between 63 and 82 degrees F, but during July the temperatures average between 48 and 70 degrees F since it becomes cooler and dryer. Their population is 22 million and languages are Malagasy and French.
